Apart from the above students were involved in guided reading during their English class. ................................................................................................................................................................. In unit of inquiry students wrote the reflection of their last unit on buildings and structures. They inquired into the concept of archaeology by being archaeologists themselves. They had to dig out certain artefacts and think about them through the given questions example: - What do you think this might be? - How do you think it might have been used? - What material do you think is it made of? etc. Below are a few photographs of students in action:

The highlights of this week were the following: Students visited the science lab in seniour school in order to do some experiments on tension, compression and gravity. These experiments helped them to understand the concepts. The teachers in science lab Mr Sudipto Roy (Diploma program co-ordinator) and Ms Babita have been instrumental in making this session interesting and engaging. Below are some photographs of the science lab: In Maths, students practiced the operations of multiplication and division and they also made tsructures using different shapes and angles. They first made a blue-print of a structure last week and followed it up with construction: Apart from the above, students revised 2D and 3D shapes through myimaths website and they revised the features of different shapes. In English they were shown a silent movie for a couple of minutes and they had to continue the story, including more instances ad giving it a conclusion.
